Both intriguing, the sombre, anonymous monotones of street and uniforms, the flashes of colour from the caps and banners, the looming church towers - V1 has a cinematic look.
I guess V1 works better as a composition, that chunk of reflective clear plastic in V2 is a bit of a ******. But both are very personal vision pictures, and that's what I treasure on this site. Good to see you uploading again, Pascal's been carrying the flag but we've missed you.

I don't think I have ever seen a photo from inside a parade, so to speak; it does make for a very different viewpoint. The perspective here is so interesting because the head of the parade appears to be ignoring the bend in the road...

Well hello stranger.
I do like to see a girl in a uniform.And a hat.
Back views are OK,but prefer the full frontal.
I like them to keep in step too.It proves they do not mind a bit of discipline !!
