Oh, I do like the sepia.
The softness of it serves this well. What fun place that must have been.....

Oh, καλό μεσημέρι, that's good midday in Greek, I can't remember if French say something on the lines of midi and hereuse! Google is refusing to translate la poupette, is it a term of endearment like 'poppet' in English? I do like the way she's looking backwards ?at you or the man, and I'm intrigued with the whatever they are little pink things that appear to be under the man's oxter. Smile

Poupette is a nickname meaning roughly "little dolly". I hadn't seen the pink things - I wonder if Pascal knows what they are.
Oh, and of course in France, the only thing people say at midday is 'bon appétit!' Wink

Including a second figure alters the balance and renders the scene less austere than Pascal's interpretations.

Nice to see you are gracing us with your presence again Lucy !!
Have you been too busy letting the feathers fly with Pascal ?
Or perhaps the two of you like indulging in pillow fights ?
Either way,a fine return image from you.

PS The triangle/inverted V shape (eyes - hand - eyes), echoed by the inverted V of feathers... Smile
