12 Saturday Shadows

By LynneJoyce
OK, I know that a couple of these shots have been uploaded in my previous post but today it is all about the shadows.

V1 is late afternoon in Denia, Costa Blanca and I loved how the complicated shadows from the cafes added new patterns to the colourful shop stalls. V 2 was taken on the ferry to Spain (the one that actually went before the strike cancelled them all) 3-11 are all Portsmouth, 8&11 include the shadowy figure of Lillian, and V12 is Denia port and features one of the weirdest vessels we have ever seen. All the photographs were taken before I even knew about the 'Saturday Shadows' thing.

Anyway, thank you for looking and I hope you enjoy at least some of them.

A great set Lynne, you've used 3 months work of shadow Saturday uploads in one go! Hope you've got loads more!
Think I like V2 the best!

I will be on the look out for shadows, but with a dull grey winter in the offing, I might be out of luck outdoors!

Sorry, Lynne but can't look at other than V1. The site is driving me mad as this is the 3rd time I've looked in and I can't view images/leave comments so fingers crossed you get this! Love both the colours and shadows in V1 anyway and knowing your skills, bet I'd love all the others as well, if only I couldbe allowed to see them! Tongue

You are obviously a lady that likes to put all your eggs in one basket with this upload Lynne.Did you know that the world record for eating boiled eggs is about 65 in 7 minutes ? It is held by a lady too.I have never seen a pic of her but I would bet my boots she must be about 30 stone in weight to be able to eat that many.I know what boiled eggs to do me when I eat them so thank goodness I am not her hubbie lying beside her in bed at night.Mind you, that will be as long as you can find a bed big enough !!
Good shadow set here.

A beautiful set.. I always love shadows..Smile... it's part of us, but it has its own 'life', a silent company, an unknown one can be scary as well if you are walking in a dark alleyGrin...My favourite shadow in this set is V6, the shadow in the sea...beautiful tone and colour..The whole picture is superbly taken, wonderful POV and composition; V2's colour is interesting, a blue dream...leave a song to you,I heard long time ago... 'Shadows on the wall' . Have a nice evening.

A lovely group of pictures. V1 is a little heavy on the shadow at the bottom and lacks detail.
to illustrate this V 6 is excellent. Well done. WesternRed.
