Venice again, this time 12 mages of the masks that so characterise the city. They are everywhere
and they range from plain white ones that you are supposed to paint for yourself, to the more fanciful and elaborate ones pictured here, many of which are intended as wall decorations, but they all have eye holes and can be worn (and probably are) by the more intrepid attendees at some of the balls.
Many of these were taken through glass shop windows, others at street stalls. Fortunately Venetian shopkeepers are meticulous about keeping their shops, shop windows and shop frontages immaculately clean.
Anyway, thank you for looking and I hope you enjoy at least some of them.
