Applied Photography

By LynneJoyce
At a time when many of us will be confined to home for a prolonged period I thought it timely to present a few ideas for how we can use our photographs, or at least a few ways in which I use mine. They are suitably time consuming and many of them help to keep connections with people I don't see in person and will not be able to see in person for quite a while.

Here you will find memes and messages for Facebook, postcards, greetings cards, calendar pages, novel, 3D, DIY cards, bookmarks, illustrated verse and one of many house notices that I have created for fellow dog keepers. I also did an In Memoriam presentation for Garrath's friends and family the last page of which is shown in V14.

I'm sure that many of you have lots of other ideas and I'd be delighted to hear about them. After all, faced with four months of solitary confinement, I need things to occupy my time and my mind.

As ever the exif applies only to the first image. Thank you for viewing and I hope that you enjoy at least some of these ideas.

An excellent array of time consuming projects with some good images as well Lynne. My favourite is the lead image! So much of it about.

A thought provoking image and a gloriously sane commentary. Vastly more helpful than the hysterical, half witted guff that fills the newspapers. What a joy! 🙂 👍 🏆
Right, I'm going back out to the shed! 😀

A truly wonderful and inspired set, Lynne. Like them all, hard to pick out favourites. More sets like this one please, they brighten up our nights. Run out of awards, back soon. The lead, 3, 8, and 12 perhaps but all the others are magical 🏆

Thought provoking.... I must have different kinds of friends or maybe Australians are different I never get let down. If we make a date to catch up we keep it. However for the next while we are not making any plans.

There are some who just pay lip service and some who actually care, those are true friends!

I'm sure you will have inspired many members with all your clever ideas Lynne.
Maybe after the isolation those who didn't phone to go for coffee will be queuing up
to make arrangements.
I was away with two friends recently to a quiet island and we had a discussion about
living from the madding crowd - both said they could do it -then on Monday I got a call from one of them to say she'd go insane if she couldn't get out for four months.
Guess we need people more than we think.
Great images and ideas.

A very heart felt piece of work here, Lynne and I agree totally with your sentiment in your lead image. It is also very well presented indeed.
Your combining of images and words has always fascinated me and this is a great display of them.
Keep up the good work in your time of isolation and, if I come up with any ideas I'll let you know. Either when I call you on Xday, or when we have that coffee or when I pop over to see you. Wink (Sorry, couldn't resist that.) Wink
