Ventured out with the camera yesterday and today and took a lot of Snowtographs in varying light conditions, so thought I'd post something celebratory and lighthearted to celebrate this big, brave, post-surgical adventure.
We have two German Shepherd Dogs, Helmut (the short coated red sable) and Helga (the long haired dark sable). The breed name is often shortened to GSD and Garrath and I have several interpretations of this - German Supervisory Dog, German Scrounging Dog etc. This set is devoted to another interpretation - German Snow Dogs.
As you can see from the photographs they love it and are working hard at the fine art of snow diving. V1 shows them assiduously picking up messages from one of the many canine message boards, V's 4 & 9 demonstrate that they can behave themselves when required, the rest just show them enjoying the snow. I make no apologies for the leads in the pictures. That's what responsible dog owners do, keep them on the lead.
I'm now exhausted from the walks and the editing, but I do hope that you enjoy at least some of the photographs. Thanks for looking.
