French Bugs (4 of 23)

The next step in emptying my 'Ready' folder is to post these lovely French bugs, all captured while out at the very well named Mozzie Lake with Annette38 last Autumn. (My legs itch just thinking about it!)

This time I remembered to disable voting so these are simply for entomological and photographic interest. As ever, the exif applies only to the first shot.

A fine set of varied species including one rather tatty butterfly and a few of the mantis, an insect I always feel looks malevolent and ready to get you at all costs, although I have probably got that all wrong.
My favourite is V 1 which rightly deserves that slot, IMHO.

Magnifique! v1 is a cracking lead but v9 would look superb on a wall (but without that blade of grass though).

V1, 2, 3, 6, 9, 11 are my favourites, Lynne. You have a very artistic way of seeing, and ability to record them. A VERY BEAUTIFUL set.
