Congrats on the GEA - very hard to choose between this gorgeous images of Cherry Blossom -
It is great to see the full tree in V3 - often difficult to do that with a good composition.
Amazingly sharp despite the gale. V6 and V9 have some extra appeal possibly because of the borders?
Can't wait to see the 'project' before the Chilli Jam sessions!

Despite the conditions, you braved the elements and captured the beauty of this spring blossom so well, Lynne: wonderful detail and for me V 1 and V 11 are the favourites but it's a hard choice. As you indicated, you cannot put off a day as wind can strip the blossom so quickly. I feel it is such a pity that all this beauty is so evanescent, but by recording it in this way one can continue to enjoy it at other seasons.

A beautiful set, Lynne. Wonderful colour, light and clarity, nice presentation, delightful! Your really get out the most of spring.. I'm amazed that you could get out that much from one tree. I saw a flower tree in the street yesterday, stared at it for a while, even with camera in hand... but didn't make a photo. Great work, very well done. Take care, getting well soon and have a nice holiday, Lynne.

First off, CONGRATS ON THE GEA!!! Very cool
And very well deserved.
Second, yeah, I see what you mean about the eyecatchingness of V1 as a thumbnail!
I am so glad you struck while the iron was...er...in hot bloom, Lynne. It would've been a crying shame to have missed these while waiting for ideal conditions. You've done this tree proud and it's very hard to choose a favourite. I REALLY like the flower-frame combo in 9, 10 and 13, by the way.
My fave pics here are 1, 3, 6 and 10. Ooh...and 13. Is yours 13?
Andrew
