Photographs from the first jaunt with the new camera and this was a real test because these were taken in howling winds, freezing cold and wet conditions on the top of Baildon Moor where there is no hiding place. I was intrigued by the extremely long, winter shadows and tried to capture as many as I could, as well as capturing the scenery, the squelchy conditions and Ansel of course.
It is a very popular dog walk but there were only a few, really intrepid souls (V8 & 9) apart from myself who were prepared to endure the trying conditions on that day. I can't say I blame those who stayed at home. It really was frozen finger time.
V1 clearly demonstrates that Ansel regards the lead and the head collar as gross infringements of his puppy liberties and V's 2 - 4 show his attempts to shake them off. (I remained unmoved). The rest tell their own story I hope.
Thank you for viewing and I hope that you enjoy at least some of these images.
