Yah Boo Kay

By LynneJoyce
Time for more fun and experimentation as my previous upload was a little poker faced. These are all images taken of flowers from the bouquet (Yah Boo Kay - get it?) that Garrath bought for me on Thursday night to say thank you for me doing dog duty for four days while he was on a course, no mean feat for a feeble old bat like myself with two very boisterous German Shepherds. They were all taken in fading natural light in the kitchen (couldn't be bothered getting the ring flash set up) hence the noise in some of the shots which I don't mind one bit.

The flowers were bought from the lady with the van on the Drighlington bypass, Sue's Flowers, so thanks go to Sue for selling flowers on Garrath's route to and from his course in Chesterfield. Two lovely mixed bunches are now gracing my kitchen and 15 models from them are about to grace EPZ.

Lots of different styles and modes of presentation here, all attempts to immortalise a lovely gesture that is much appreciated. Thank you for looking and I hope that you like at least some of them.

Well for 'a feeble old bat' you sure know a trick or two.
Brilliant set with so many skills demonstrated which I greatly admire.
Love V1 and V2 two things I've not yet attempted ( got magazines and discs - not got enough time for everything)
I like you SDF in V7 and the simplicity of V4 and V10.
Top set Lynne.

For a feeble old bat Lynne, you really do know a thing or two about presenting your images.
Presentation is one of your trademarks I reckon.
Some excellent examples of that here.
Super set.

I reckon Garath made a wise move in buying you not just one, but two of Sue's bunches of delights...!
The photography is outstanding, but the presentation and eye for detail is sublime; there's a lot of computer craftmanship gone on here.
The compilation of V1 would make a wonderful tissue or trinket box - there's a commercial thought, to prop up the 'old bat's' pension fund (or Mac fund, if you prefer..!).
Now, to pick a 'favourite' out of the 15 masterpieces.... it has to be your leading image, V1, for the sheer ingenuity of the images within an image.

Your presentation is absolutely magnificent in All 15. I wonder if you have used Lightroom yet?.
It singly changes separate colours and light etc for processing.

Oh Lynne, you have outdone yourself. Excellent work, in v1 I could be led into thinking you actually stuck the prints on a box, lit them carefully and photographed the work in a studio.
But I know that you are more skilled than 99% of us in 3D work so this is a real stunner, plus all these selective coloring beauties. I'd love this on a gray wall in 2x2m on some ugly building in town!
Or, on a hospital wall for all those who face a grim experience.
