Shadow Saturday.. the sunlight coming through the vertical blinds in the afternoon, making light streaks onto the carpet. The room was in shadow. So I have light instead of shadow, make sense ?? Grin

I love the way you have seen and composed this! And well done for thinking b&w, it creates a cool, harmonious feel.
I think you have done a bit of work lightening shadows, it causes a rather flat, 2-dimensional effect. I would prefer a little more contrast, and let the shadows stay dark. Just a suggestion...
