Hi Lynsey
I really like the expression and the story but I think this is the 1st of yours that i have not been to keen on, i am so unsure of the bright hightlight in the background and i dont feel the colour suits the subject. I think it would have been so much stronger in a grade 5 B&W then i think it would have done very well, but id still have to remove the very bright highlight.
Regards
Tony

Well it's not fine art and it certainly is'nt beautiful, but it tells a story and tugs at my old heart-strings.
That "little girl" looks like an old man with a goatee beard, and her eyes (in the large version) are so deep and imploring.
It makes you realise how lucky we are to live in good old England.
Well done for loading this Lyns. Variety is the spice of life, and you're one spicey lady

It's really heart wrenching to see the children here. You're torn in two directions - give them money then their parents keep them off school to go begging for more, or don't give them anything and maybe they go hungry tonight!! It just makes you put your whole life into perspective and makes you feel guity at how materialistic we are and how much we have to be grateful for.
