Frustration

By lynsfiona
Thought I would go along with the whole feelings theme I'm going through at the moment. I sometimes feel like this when I'm not able to take shots when I've really got a creative surge - it mostly comes to me when I'm at work - typical!!

This is my husbands arm and hand which I managed to twist into some modelling!!

Taken in colour then converted to B&W using a Gradient Map layer.

Thanks for looking. Big is much better if you have the time!!

Thanks Lyns x

A bold, strong, powerful image, very well composed with good tones and detail. A classic example of how to say so much without the use of words. Excellent work.

A very powerful image Lynsey. Has frustration written all over it. I also think that the mood is set better with the image in B&W. Love the composition and a well thoughtout image.

It's so twoooo .... bigger is better.

The BW conversion is spot-on Lyns, and the detail you've captured is amazing, this with the kit lens too!

You've actually stolen 1/3 of my most recent (EC gaining) idea. This was a tryptych of Scissors-Paper-Stone done with my very own hand as the model.

You've done the stone, now just get Hubby to sit for the Paper and Scissors and I guarantee you that Pete will be clicking the old EC button like crazy.

Take Care .....

Dave.

Yes Sam, I am his personal manicurist! - I cut them for him 4 years ago when we first started going out and I've been doing them ever since - he won't even touch them himself! He's a digital 3D artist working at the same company as me so he never really has to get his hands dirty.

Thanks very much for all the clicks and lovely comments - Lyns x

Wow - I'm speechless!! Thank you very much Pete for the EC, you've made my day, waking up to an award!!

Thanks for eveyone who's clicked and commented, I really appreciate it!!

I think I do owe my husband Tim a pint of two as whenever I shoot his hands I seem to win an award - I think he's missed his vocation and should've been a hand model!!

Not to self: Must only shoot Tim's hands from now on! LOL
