I picked up this fruit in the supermarket the pther day - never eaten one before but I thought it interseting and unusual. It's an Oriental Persimmon also known as a Sharon Fruit.

Shot on the same evening (using window light) as my last upload with my Tim being my glamorous hand model for the evening.

Hi Lyns,

This is so different to the previous upload. Softer and much more gentle. I like the subtlety of this one, and the hint of colour around the edge of the (pretty yucky looking) fruit.

I'm impressed by the variety of your uploads.

Super point of focus puts all the emphasis on the fruit - simple but very effective image - One question though - are they nice?? as I've often wondered myself but am too tight fisted to buy one. Philg

Phil - I've no idea what they taste like because I'm too ckicken to try it. It's still sitting in my fruit bowl. If I pluck up the courage you'll be the first to know what they taste like!!

An amazing piece of selective focus work. Extremely effective desaturation work too. Great stuff as usual - you are one very talented lady!!! (PS Sharon fruit are my absolute favourite fruit!)
