Prefer the colour, this was a storm some while back looking at the state of the trees blown over and the undergrowth getting on top of it, did you get any pictures at the time?, the element of damage would be much more evident and raw.

That certainly was a storm. It made me think of the meteor strike in Siberia years ago, which flattened a forest. Not quite the same scale here, but impressive, nonetheless.

This was the aftermath of a fierce storm many years ago, when I worked for the electricity board. The strong winds devastated large areas bringing down power lines and causing large scale shutdowns. It took us about a week to get back to normal, and some consumers were without power for long periods.
