The colour does it full justice Ian. I remember seeing this on my visit to Edinburgh. A very picturesque little spot

The colour version says so much more, especially those red steps.

Love the textures in the stonework and both versions work for me. The colour version has the added bonus of the strong primary colours of the doorways and staircases. Excellent work.

Colour or mono? Mono or colour? Which one is best? Let's say Hibs 1 Hearts of Midlothian 1 and leave it like that.
In other words undecided. David

Mono glorious - colour a tad more so! It's those red steps! Glorious composition Ian. 😀

The red is prettier but I prefer the grittier mono, it fits the stonework. Even better if it was wet and drizzly....Grin

I do explore more in the b&w where as in the colour my eyes stay mainly on the staircases and doors. like them both, very much.

Mono for me, I find the colour version just a bit overdone.

Has to be colour - too much of a waste in my eyes, not to be. Smile
