gentle cyclamen

this flower grows in a strange oblique way but for them it must be perfectly straight; the white petals do suggest long hairs fluttering and defying strong winds; in young days they were rather popular but nowadays a bit out of "everyone's taste" but that doesn't distract from their gentleness.

Beautifully composed and shot. Slightly over-sharpened, though — there's a bit of a halo around the flower.
