somehow summerlight is just different from winterlight or does this observation just come from the realm of the psyche. Now I do wonder with you when this was taken; my mind suggests may or june.

Bright sunlight I think - but you do get bright winter sunlight too. What a clever shot it took me a while to realise what it is. I'll never look at net curtains in the same way again.

Nicely done.

The light is different in the winter, because the sun is lower in the sky. That changes the angle, obviously, but also softens it just a little, as it has to pass through a bit more atmosphere to reach us.
