Great shot. The juxtaposition between the fabulous aircraft and the Union Flag is wonderful. I share your view on the theme of patriotism but I do think there is something symbolic in that very tatty Flag and a rusty old flagstaffe. That will very much reflect the state of the Union if we get much more of this rubbish going on about devolution.!!!
I speak as someone who followed and honoured that Flag for 25 years as a soldier.
