Excellent detailed capture Dave. IMHO I would have cropped the top and bottom of the image and not gone for the square format. Just my opinion though Wink

Superb Coalie capture and pose. Pin sharp plumage detail/patterning, tones and lovely eye. Have to say I agree with Steve and Kaz and feel a landscape crop would give better balance, but such opinions are of course purely personal.

Well captured Dave, I too would of gone for a landscape crop in this and also left a fraction more space to the left as it looks a bit tight to the edge and if you had cropped it landscape you could of cut out the distracting stick behind the main stem mate.
