Thanks for all you comments and support. Much appreciated.

This capture was during a walk with a friend using a Sony HX99. As we passed the salon the lights invited me to frame a shot, I noticed the reflection and just as I was about to stop the seated lady glanced my way - I pressed the shutter button and this is the result with mono conversion and tonal adjustment in Lightroom.
I spoke with the women in the salon and asked if they were Ok with the shot and they said that they were so here it is. I hope that you like it

I hope you don't mind me making a suggestion, but I think going for a landscape format might make it stronger. It leaves you with the lady in the chair and the hands. Everything above the point where the blond hair touches the dark blouse (of the hairdresser) is a bit redundant imo, and weakens the real strength of the photo: that lady's gaze.
The problem of my own suggestion are the flowers. Keeping them in would mean you would have to go for a square format. Leaving them out, might mean you would have to do a bit of cloning in post processing. I would probably leave them out, but then I'm not a big flower lover Smile
Every once in a blue moon a shot like this occurs and when it does itís usually brilliant, in this case
superb.
If you look at the composition all be it already in situ there is a poignancy about the lady in the chair perhaps trying to recreate her youth.
