A nice image, the silhouetted pier and people work well. I may have waited for the sun to drop a little lower though so it wasn't as bright in the middle of the shot. Also, the colours in the sky are often bolder once the sun has set. Hope this helps.

Nice one Maggie, your learning fast!
Try next time to get this type of shot with the sun just on the horizon or just below it. This will need a tripod, due to the longer exposure needed, but will pay dividends. Keep at it.
