Twigs in warm light in the snow

By maggietear
Just noticed this scene before the sun sunk even lower. One of those moments that only lasts a few minutes!

Ron and I will be out about over the next few weeks so I, especially, won't be putting up so many images.

Hope you all get some great pics! Will look forward to seeing them when I'm around.

Thanks for my comments and votes, especially Ju for her award for my rhino.

Maggie

This is beautiful, an image or a scene which at sometime most of us would have come across. However you have and the forethought and inclination to capture such an image. One which has been very well observed and so very well captured.

Couldn't give my UA until today...
I love this sort of observation. Low pov, very careful composition. I've seen the effect achieved with macro shots of mosses to create a miniature tropical jungle, or a little trickle of water that looks like a mighty cascade. This is different, I like the minimalism, the emptiness.

I really like the simplicity of this shot. It sort of confuses our sense of size.

So delicate, even fragile.
Very well spotted!
