Introducing Edward

By Hazelmouse
Edward is the name the bear guides have given to this black bear that is in the inlet. He is on one side of the estuary - avoiding the grizzlies- as they could kill him, being much smaller.

You will be seeing more of Edward as we sat and watched him on several occasions.

Ed, like most black bear I have met is probably very civilized. Turning your shoulders so you face sideways is a jesture of tolerance they understand. Try it next time. He may relax and hang around longer. Nice eye contact of this live and let live bear. TG
