Great car and a great shot. I prefer this mono shot to the original colour version. You did well to get this one extracted from the crowd. i do a lot at Classic Cars shows and they all seem to just line them up next to each other so that you can never get a car on its own. I spend hours and hours cropping out "neighbours" to get the car I wanted in the first place. Then it is usually easier to put it onto a totally new background than to fill in the gaps where you have cut out other cars.... It is so good to see one like this - all on its own.....Peter

Like the low position of view, the reflections in the Crome are great and the mono saves any distraction from a super shot.
Regards John.

Hi Peter,
Thanks for your comments. I know exactly what you mean.
I used the lens on 18mm and got as close to the car as possible and then with a tight crop there was very little cloning to do.
I've posted they original, uncropped version as a variant, showing the cars on either side,

Lovely car and love the mono as the silver trim stands out more...

I loved these styles from Jaguar Alan, pity they had to change it, beautiful shot,
Geoff.

Nice job. On V1 you also got rid of the pink "ticket" on the windscreen - they often spoil things too. When I'm feeling bold enough I remove them before taking the shot.

You have done the Mark II great justice. the low POV really shows the graceful curves of the bonnet and front valance soo well. Yes, mono is great as the colour would only distract from the lines.
I have been tempted more than once to buyu one, only abandoned since I live in a forest clearing without tarmac.

A splendid shot of the car which I think looks even better in mono
