Impressive at Iso1600, Maggie. The perspective does look good. I remember feeling quite queasy the first time I ventured along one of these tunnels.

These kinds of aquariums are so cool. They have a new one in Houston, and I've been pestering John to drive down one weekend and see it. Love the colours, and the perspective here.

More impressive than the ISO is the shutter speed. Those PENs are super.

I like the width here, but there's another image lurking in this - the huge reflections of the people nearest to us. Check out the sides of the tunnel.

Quite surreal in a way - perhaps it's the colours and perspective, but I like it.

Not been but must be quite an un-nerving experience! having all that weight of water above you on glass, like it! your shot works well, regards Leon.GrinGrinGrinGrinGrin

I've never been here and I wonder whether it still exists... Love the perspective.

Wow, Maggie! Where was this? I want to go and see it. I agree with Anne's comment above - the quality of the PEN is supberb, especially in such low lighting! I am tempted to look at getting one now!

Exceptional capture in what I think would have been difficult lighting circumstances Maggie

We have one of these wonderful tunnels in Scotland, I've never visited as yet. The dramatic viewpoint makes the image work so well Maggie.
Is a month enough to visit Assynt and Cape Wrath I wonder? The mountains that surround Lochinver are many and highly varied. A place that needs time to wander and wonder at the force of nature that carved these mountains from the earth. Cape Wrath is remote and I've never been there, the ferry is short but adventurous in windy weather and the bus route is short and limited on the other side. Shanks Pony for the visit, enjoy.
A lady from Cape Wrath went to the mainland for her Christmas turkey he got back home in late January, just last year I think.

Your own intro up top sums up the image so well, Maggie: as Dougie has said, we have one of these undersea glass tunnels at Queensferry but as yet I too have still to visit it.
Ronnie.
