Sometimes it is difficult to catch birds as they always do what you at least expect. I find it easier to lay down on the shutter button and take several rapid shots, usually the sound of the shutter button will make them look up. Spot on! Click!!!

They are pretty challenging subjects to shoot. Usually the fast moving small ones
This is a good one, would have been better with a different angle

Good capture, I can't do birds at all, they are just too quick, so well done to capture this one.
