This is a satisfying composition. I know what you mean about resizing - I suspect it's primarily the foliage across the river that you're concerned about. I took a shot yesterday of stream, foliage, reflections - then tried resizing it last night and was really disheartened at the resulting loss of foliage detail. I suspect that e2 beckons...
What does come over very well here is the reflected light on the water, and river bed below. That's a really lovely combination.
Great title, by the way.

The shot is superbly composed. Maybe needs a little more FG.
The photograph does look a little flat but the light looks good with detailed sky and reflection. I might be tempted to try some little tricks in PS, maybe levels and colour balance would help.

Thanks all

Robert - I already did some selective colouring, levels, sharpening and a few other bits and pieces! It's already improved 100%

Don't know what I did before, but as it seems I have not clicked on the "Add Comment" button.
Silly me.
What I said previously and got lost, was, that I like the picture, but as Robert (glyndwr) said, it looks a little flat, I suppose it is lack of real fg. A little changed angle, including the rock left bottom perhaps would have helped. To make a Wadi look Wales-green, even if it leads water, could be a very tough task! Smile But I like the translucent water and the sky.
Too hot to go outside... well... here it is too cold to do so. :-(
