This juvenile Red-Backed Shrike was photographed at Rainham Marsh RSPB, London......It's been showing very well and at close range even catching and impaling bees and is still there as i type..
Really nice shallow DoF. Well captured and well exposed.
Not sure about the central placement of the bird, but the green branch offers a nice lead-in line that contrasts well and makes this a pleasing shot.

what a great shot,Good detail but I want to be greedy and wish he was cropped bigger.
Shows how out of touch I am,I did not think they were still in Britain,never mind breeding.
