SPOTTED CRAKE.........Porzana porzana
I'm so pleased that i got to see this bird and at times good views, topped off with some images aswell...!!!
This is a migratory breeding species for the U.K. and numbers are increased by passage migrant birds..a shy bird that slips away and disappears then reappears some metre's away you stand there baffled...how did it get there i've been watching..
Taken in Essex at Maldon, at the Dump Pool..
