this is an image of 'seed' by Peter Randall-Page a sculpture made of one piece of granite carved with a complex pattern based upon the geometric and mathematical principles which underlie plant growth. Carved from a 167 tonne block of cornish granite and took 4 years to make. Displayed at the Eden Project.

His artwork is beautiful. I've been to the Eden Project - amazing thought crowded. Well at least to a Norwegian Smile

This arrived after our last Eden visit, the room was ready for it's arrival but the seed itself not yet in place. Can't wait to see it in person! Superb capture of this marvellous piece of artwork which looks almost 3D.
