Grey Day, CityHall

By malc_c
It's a while since my last upload, so I thought I should make an effort and post a recent image. And well, you just can't get away from the strange but photogenic shape of the iconic City Hall and it's environs. This one was slightly thrown together in a panic, but it managed to squeak by and win it's competition.

And no it isn't rain and I didn't try to make it look like real rain. Think of it as digital grain. Anyway, I quite like it.

update 25/04/10: This image has just won the digital image of the year in the Intermediate class, although with a little curves tweak in the sky and on the steps... my last outing as an intermediate at APS. I'll try this in a couple of salon's though, including London if I can get a print good enough today!

Super shot with great processing. A very worthy winner, Malcolm, I know how stiff the competition was! Congratulations.

Futuristic almost 3 dimensional platinum image with unusual perspective. Very original works Malcolm. I like it very much.
