Thank you for all the votes for yesterdays image.
One last (well, for now) image from the Lake District, taken just before sunrise on the southern tip of Ullswater. The conditions were perfectly magical- cold, still and clear, causing the morning mist to apear over the lake, although the only half decent pier I could find was rather less than fully operational.
This is my most dramatic and simplifying crop, slightly above the just visible tree line in the background and keeping in the bouy which I think nicely echoes the three shapes in the near water (you can see they are tyres in the full resolution A3+ print).
