An image from one of my morning walks in December, shortly before the snows (shortly before I escaped!)
The frost has veiled the fields and hedgerows in a cold white gossamer but my favourite tree stands resolutely in the middle of his field of frosted white kale, catching the rays of the rising sun. Just about visible as a shadow on the horizon is Cliveden House, still more infamous for the Profumo affair than famous for it's five star hotel.
Just to remind us that the sun does still shine,
