I haven't seen many pictures of black swans. I love the black plumage and the vivid red beak. Good capture Malc.

Magnificent image of the two species together. I didn't know they could mix, where I go they all keep to colour so Jolly Good capture. Dawlish is the home of the Black Swan, I think they originally came from Australia.

Reminds me of the song Ebony and Ivory! Great capture Malc! My experience has been that the white swans do not tolerate the black swans very well. Well taken!

Beautiful! The small coastal town of Dawlish (S. Devon, U.K.) have several Black Swans swimming in the central park. I have never seen Black and Mute together though. Well spotted and caught.

Congratulations on the RC award, there are a number of black swans at Slimbridge, haven't ever seen any anywhere else apart from one at Tewkesbury once which may have escaped from captivity
