Girl in a basket

By Malc_V
Thought i would give all the wonderful colour at the Can Cau market a break.

This image is from the Town of Sapa in the north of Vietnam.

Two Black H'Mong ladies walking through town, at first i thought nothing of it then i spotted the little girl in the basket and grabbed this shot.

Converted to black and white as i have not tried much of this yet.

Hope you like it.
Thanks for looking.

Lovely work Malc. You quickly spotted this one . It made me chuckle .
A great B/W . People who are more knowledgeable than me say it is better to convert AFTERWARDS than in the camera ? Didn't think to ask why .

First class Malc! The location of the two women and child, relative to their background couldn't be bettered, and detail is superb.

Marvelous shot, great in BW. The contrast of the determination of the old women and the innocent peeking of the child are a wonderful contrast.

Malc - I love this image and it is so effective in B&W

A great image even without the little girl in the basket but to have her peering out of it is just priceless!
