Kate - never a problem, even when out most of the day. Started with fully charged battery, never had to resort to a spare. Plenty thermals required though..... Most of time it's bright & a dry cold, little wind, & pleasant if well wrapped up. Usually get back to 'warmer' Scotland & freeze !
