A whole lot of Bull

By mandarinkay
I was inspired for this by someone on EPZ some time ago ... I forget who right now, but I took this pic about 3 years ago ... and never quite knew what to do with it as the background was very cluttered, also there was barbed wire in front of him and a few bits of branch across his face (was still learning about composing shots then! LOL!) I came across the pic last night on my hard drive and immediately thought of the picture I had seen in the gallery, and set to work .... this is the result! I am fairly pleased with it, but .... would welcome the opinion of you guys out there! Good or bad! Thanks all for previous comments and for taking the time to look. Begining to catch up with folk now, will be around to those I have missed really soon.
Oh .... please if you have time ... could you take a peek at my grandsons p/f ... scoobykarl Karl has recently joined the junior section. ThanksWink
Take care all,
Karen xxx

Not a million miles away from what I was trying to produce with my shot of 'Woody' a couple of days ago - However, you seem to have cracked it with this one! So, not really 'a whole lot of bull' - very good, actually!

What a great shot and you have composed the background beautifully.

Very delicatly done, ( odd for a bull?? LOL) but the highlights define the image-- It appears weel set apart from the black bg-- works well--

I would like t o see how this goes in a portrait shape, perhaps extending the canvas at the top and bottom--

You can't beat a bit of bully Karen. Treatment looks good and I also think portrait format would be another good option too.

This is outstanding. Iīm surprised it hasnīt received more acclaim. I could look at this for a very long time, but unfortunately I have to go back to work !! Might do well in a "black" competition. Bull marks ha ha.
