    hi all
    i have a nikon d7000 body,i am looking at getting a new lense for it 300 prime,i am limbo over the 300 f4 nikon or the 300 f2.8 nikon/sigma,i will be using a converter with the lense for birds,any help as to wich is the better one.

    i am looking for a prime lense for birding,got a chance of a Nikon 300mm 2.8 AF ED lens,will this lense be ok on a d7000 body,also do you think the lack of vr will affect it.

    i am after a tripod that will be ok to use with a monfrotto 393 head,nikon d7000,and a sigma 150-500mm lense,found 3 but not to sure what one to get.

    hi just got back from a walk,half way round my sigma lense (on a nikon d80)decided it was not going to a/f any more,changed the battery worked for a minute then started doing it again.any suggestions to what it is or what i can do

    i have just got a sigma 150 - 500 lense,i am looking for a tripod mount ,looks like a ( u ) shape ,see a few people today with large zoom lenses attatched to them,i cannot find them any where,any help would be greatly appreciated
