Soft, subdued, natural tapestry-wool colours and textures...
Good to see you around, fingers crossed for some better news...

Hi Roly,
Glad to see you back, sad that the prospects don't look so bright. I'm sure you'll get plenty of support here.
Excellent natural colour in these, and well-chosen viewpoints. The contours and lines of V2 are particularly pleasing as the autumnal hues set in.
Regards

Lovely! I like v2 the best because of the contrasting sloping lines. Very dramatic.

Welcome back from over the Misty Mountains, Roly!
Both versions are very fine, v.1 for me as the landscape centred around the lake is superb. Lovely shadows in v.2 though. Cracking shots.

Hi Roly, nice to see you back posting again. I'm sorry about the job news, hopefully something will crop up in the near future. Two great images, V1 is best for me, I've never been a fan of tarmac roads in landscape shots. Smile

Two very nice landscapes, Roly, and so nice to see you back. I too am sorry to hear about the work situation which seems to be getting worse by the day. Of your two shots, i do like V 2 particularly b/o the excellent lead in lines and the contrast between the sunlit fore and middle grounds and the shaded b/g and ominous sky.
Ronnie.
