Good Morning,

WWT Arundel and late in the day we were sat at the outdoor patio enjoying a warming coffee when a racket went up and these guys took to the skies , Canada Geese Branta Canadensis .... a beautiful sight to witness I had the D90 in my hand with the 18 - 105 lens so not as ready for this basic grab shot as I could have been. V1 a crop from the original ... v2 the original .....

I have bowed to the normal of leaving room to "fly" into... Wink However the original v1 was deliberate to give the idea of photo finish type thing first past the frame Smile

I urge large and for window users f11 and ctrl+ ..... for mac user large and cmd+

Many thanks for the comment and votes on Tonbridge Sunset, and indeed a few other images , all votes and constructive comment are gratefully received and truly appreciated. Colin and Mari

You were lucky, I had my camera already packed away for the day!!
Colin, you have done well with this, and reacted fast to the sounds, or was it my slurping my hot chocolate you heard through my frozen lips! like the cropped version, as can see the geese better, and details, looks like they know you are aiming at them.
Well captured

Great flight capture Colin, a nice sense of speed and I love the evening light and these two straining for the lead Smile

I like the crop shot although I might have left a bit more room in the front.
You have done a great job of panning the shot I like when the bg shows movement blur.
Well done

Very nicely caught. I like the sense of movement, and also the mod crop I think is a bit better - because the birds have space to fly into! Smile Lovely work.
