A set of four images of a grayling butterfly which I spotted amongst the heather, somewhere along the coastal path between Abermawr and Strumble Head last Saturday afternoon.

Amazingly well camouflaged and rather lovely set against the heather flowers. A beautiful set.

Great set, Ed. I haven't seen a Grayling this year, they are beautiful well camouflages butterflies. Used to get them a lot on Canford Heath in Dorset going back a few years.

This one really appears to be able to camouflage itself - didn't pick it out totally at first.
