Mint Visits

By cjl47
Our mint is flowering now and attracts its visitors such as flies and wasps.
I pick a leaf when passing, squash it up and sniff.
A sprig in the potatoes or peas is lovely, as is home made mint sauce.
I don't have a macro lens so used my 55-250mm at full stretch and a wide aperture of f8 on iso 200.

I don't have a macro lens either, I use my 70-300. You have achieved a good result from your lens

Lovely Mint.Good set of images. A few crushed leaves with boiling water poured over , left to infuse then sipped is good for an upset tum .
