I like your chosen viewpoint but the horse and rider blend into one, particularly in the thumbnail, so I don't know whether it will catch the eye of the viewer from the gallery.
Your use of DoF is good, just enough detail to give a sense of place, maybe one stop less would have kept the face of the rider in focus as well. Your title suggests she is an important part of your picture.
I think I would have been tempted to darken the ropes at the back a little bit and possibly fade the bright umbrella as it just takes the eye from the main subject.
A fraction of a second later and you would have caught the front legs just going ove the jump.
I hope this is what you wanted, but I am not an expert at show-jumping pictures.

As an aside, you mention constructive crit in the forum but I don't see it anywhere in your info. Nor do I see any real information about the image, camera settings, what you were trying to achieve, etc. I guess it has taken me much longer to crit than it took you to post.
This crit thing is a two way process, give us a chance, but you must do your bit first.Wink

Mm.... there's a lot to like, but for me it's not quite there. A fraction of a second later would have been better - as it is, you do get the impression that the horse isn't going to clear the jump (and what rider wants a picture of their horse knocking down a pole?). And yes, I would darken down the umbrella - it's very distracting.
