Thanks for looking at my pictures. Have been on this site for quite sometime now! Great site with very helpful members who both give good critism and acknowledgments alike. I'm a very keen photographer and have done some freelance reportage work for a local newspaper sometime ago. I've recently purchased a new Canon 7d Mark I camera. I look forward to posting more photos on my portfolio and am looking forward to your instructional and helpful critism and help. Thank you and enjoy. Smile

Quote:Need a bit more technical detail to comment properly. Would prefer a landscape format to fit the bird better, a male Chaffinch. Reasonably sharp but just a touch off so wonder if this is long end focal length and a slightly slow shutter speed.

Not a bad image at all, though.

    Hi Paul

Thanks for the comments. Yes it was at the long end of the focal length at 200mm I think ISO160 at F8 and roughly 1/200 I exposed for the grass This little fella was fast on his feet had to use IA Cont Focus on my 7d mk1. Used lightroom 5.7 to process digital image to jpeg. I do have a landscap version as well that I will upload as requested. Angain thank you for your comments taken on board
