All the fun of the fair

By MariaElaine
The last night of Hull Fair, it was very busy and as I wanted to attempt some slow shutter speed photography it meant that I had to cope with a tripod, not the easiest of things at the best of times. I was fairly pleased with the result as shown here, considering it was my first attempt. I like the blur of the fast round-a-bout, the slower moving big wheel being a little clearer and the static light of the written words fairly sharp. Taken with a Canon 7D

The slow shuttre is actually the bit that (in theory) we can all achieve quite easily - however your excellent compostion takes 'an eye'. Well done
