Glad you like the image.

Dawn, I had my camera on a tripod, ISO 100, F11, and Focused manually.

I don't usually go manual as what I think is in focus, often isn't, but all the information on the "threads" on this site suggested manual. So that's what I did. I wasted the first few minuites of the display getting the focus right, then left the settings as they were, and simply used the remote, to shoot away.
I will let you into a secret, during the 3 displays (it was a competition between 3 teams, each having a 10 minuite slot) I ended up taking just over 200 shots, out of which I had 30 good ones. Some images just didn't have enough light, or bursts of fireworks, whereas others had so much, making the whole thing look a mess - but those are the ones I put in the delete bin!
