Dockey Wood

By mark2uk
My favourite place at this time of year.
Dockey wood on the Ashridge Estate in Hertfordshire.
The bluebells are out in force, still a week or so to they are in full bloom, but the evening light was just right for a visit today.

All comments appreciated.
Thanks for looking

Very nice image, just uploaded a couple of images too and i have to agree, another week or so should see them at their best.

Keep them coming.

Nice shot Mark.
By the way, there are quite a few other woods on the estate but Dockey is the most tightly packed carpet of Bluebells.

Steinbeck.
Super picture!
Beautiful image indeed Mark

Like this shot Mark, nice composition. Just a pity you could not remove the one fallen branch, sticking up in the air. Not always possible, but I try to remove stuff that could infringe in the finished image. Cannot be doing with spending hours trying to edit stuff out with PS at the PC. This year the bluebells near me got batted down by the winds. James Wink
