The Discovery

By MarkyL
Grandpa again, this time with his other grandson. The original pic was somewhat non-descript but thanks to some inspiration from Ephoto member Shane Donnelly's gallery, I ran it through some manipulation and came up with this. I quite like it so, thanks Shane...

Thanks for the comments everyone. Nice way to start a Wednesday morning.

Shane, I was looking through your gallery (which is exellent by the way, and you live by the sea? Lucky so-and-so Wink), saw your pic titled 'Look what I've found' and was immediately reminded of this one. So off to work I set...

This is an excellent candid. You have captured a moment in time well. The tones are great and the frame completes it.

Thanks Anne. Kinda bizarre that two people should emulate Shane on the same day. I'm sure he's pleased right now... at least, I hope he is. I'm sure I'll enjoy it here as well. It's nice to receive positive comments from people other than close friends and family.

Works well as an image, I don't eally like borders very much I think they detract and this needs nothing to detract from it.

Makes a good readers choice though.

love the poses and the bring-me-back-to-my-childhood-feel of this.
