Giant Among Us

This ant dwarfs the little black bugs. I'm not sure what they are but the ant would walk up to one and squeeze it which would release a drop of clear fluid from the small black bug. The ant was drinking all the fluid, it was quite strange.

They look like blackfly, and the ants kind of farm them, "milking" them of the honeydew that they produce, which, as the blackfly feed on the plants sap, is left over as a surplus sugary solution.

Nice macro btw.
